M is For
Client: Matress Factory
Originally an interactive poster for the Mattress Factory, an installation art museum in Pittsburgh, building off the phrase, "M is For..." My solution was to use adjectives and adverbs starting with the letter M to personify the letter itself. Not only was this about the letter itself but also how diverse art is and it's many forms and uses. Animations created for the poster were then used at the annual garden party at the Matress Factory

RLG
Client: Personal Project
For my senior thesis I created a Random Limerick Generator, that can be interacted with in a gallery setting. The Random Limerick Generator is a system that can randomly generate a limerick from a library of lines of poetry, along with a randomly chosen bitmap image. This poem can then be sent to a receipt printer for the user to tear off and take with them. Users receive a custom piece of art that they may keep

TILT
Client: Personal Project

To create a controller that causes a meaningful interaction. I wanted to simulate the feeling of an old maze game in which the objective is to roll a metal ball through the maze to an exit, and recreate it digitally Using an old lcd display I went through designing a housing and base for the game. I chose to use UNITY to build the maze game, this was difficult as I had never designed a game but after weeks of work developing the game and peripheral (as well as porting the game to android) a prototype of TILT was finished
